Green Beans - {Fagiolini In Padella} Recipe - Cooking Index
| 6 tablespoons | 90ml | Extra-virgin olive oil | 
| 3 | Garlic cloves - thinly sliced | |
| 1 | Red onion - cut thin slices (small) | |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dried chile flakes | 
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chopped fresh mint leaves | 
| 1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Green beans - tops, tails removed | 
| Salt - to taste | ||
| Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste | 
In a 12 to 14-inch saute pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat until just smoking. Add the onion, garlic, chile flakes, and mint and cook 1 minute. Add beans, toss to mix well and cook until beans are soft, about 15 minutes, stirring regularly. Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately.
